Larry Joe Bird was born on December 7th, 1956 in “West Baden Springs” to Georgia and Claude Joseph Bird. Due to their financial status, his mother had to work multiple jobs so as to provide basic needs for him and his five siblings. Unfortunately, during his time in high school, his parents divorced, and his father later died of suicide a year later. In view of the troubles within his family, Larry had to find a way to escape from the depressing situation. He made a decision to play basketball for “Spring Valley High School.” He was at the top of his game in his senior year, and this earned him a position in the school’s history as being the leading scorer.
Having successfully shown skill in basketball, in 1974 Larry was awarded a scholarship to play for “Indiana University Hoosiers.” His stay did not last. In less than a month, he decided to leave school as the change from a simple life to a more sophisticated environment was not something that he was comfortable with. He returned to his hometown and joined Indiana State University, playing basketball for the Sycamores. With his talent in the game, he was able to steer them to the “National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) tournament” for the first time in the school’s history and later against the State of Michigan for the championship game in 1979. Despite their defeat, the game had a higher rating than any other ever played due to Larry’s skills together with the other team’s top player, “Earvin Johnson.

Larry needed a change. After his time playing at Sycamores, he jump-started his basketball career to a professional level, with Celtics, where he earned more than any rookie in the history of the league during the period. He managed to improve Celtic’s game and even helped them have a chance at the title. This made him climb ladders. He joined team A and got recognition as the rookie of the year. Things were looking up. With the motivation and skill the team had, Larry managed to lead his team to his first championship win in the conference finals against Philadelphia 76ers. The good fortunes extended to 1982 at the “All-Star Game” where he managed to win the “All-Star Game MVP” and also attained runner-up in the most valuable player award.
Larry was passionately motivated to play the game. Having won the MVP award, he managed to retain it during the 1983-1984 season and the next season; he hit a career striking 60 points in a game against “Atlanta Hawks.” Unfortunately, due to his back injuries, Larry decided to call it quits being an NBA player after the Olympic basketball game of 1992 in Barcelona. The team was comprised of one of the best players at the time and they definitely did not disappoint as they won the men’s gold medal. He finished his career with good averages and fantastic shootings from the field, free throw line, and the three-point range.

First of all, I want to say that these guys have pretty affordable prices. I asked them to write a compare-and-contrast essay and was really impressed with the final cost and, what is even more important, the level of quality.
