Excitement and complexity are some of the daily encounters of a motivational leader. It is even more challenging for a motivational leader to exercise leadership under various cultures. However, it is possible to become an active leader if the leader understands that culture includes race, sex, color, the nation of origin, among many other aspects (Nahavandi, 2015). Jobs and tasks at the workplace should reflect employee personal and professional interests. The motivational leader has to create an environment that is conducive to the employees no matter their background.
Creativity as an aspect of motivational leadership comes in handy when handling employees of diverse cultures. In a work environment that is diverse, a leader needs to reflect on situations from multiple angles. In cases a plan does not work out, the team members do not have to wait for direction as they already know what next if the desired route fails. Optimism for leaders drives the morale of employees as they look up to their leaders for inspiration (Nahavandi, 2015). Whatever motivational leaders engage in, that act must always reflect an acknowledgment of diversity among the workforce.

Each situation in commerce calls for a custom solution as no two situations are the same. Diversity poses challenges to management, but it does come along with significant benefits to any organization.
