Introduction
The project enabled me with arrange of skills in the field of research. I must admit that I have been able to hone my skills in the field of research and I am happy with what I have done so far. I have become more professional as compared to before. Moreover, doing a research is useful to a person as you gain more knowledge of the subject you are researching. From a student perspective, I gained a lot while doing this project since I became more involved in doing something new. I learned about the structure of a research and was able to appreciate the work done by researchers. It is only through the appreciation of the work put behind a certain field that one can pursue more knowledge. Moreover, on appreciating the work behind a certain information, one could also feel the drive to contribute more on the field of research. I was able to identify the purposes of writing research projects through the project. I can now comfortably outline all the steps required in conducting a research and documenting it. It is only through the appreciation of a particular work that one can do something in the field of study. From a personal perspective, I benefitted a lot from the research project in terms of skills and knowledge.
Body
I know that academic integrity is a useful concept for any piece of work. Being honest and owning up to the work that is purely mine is an essentiality or any field of research.

I have also learned and built on my resilience over time. This is because I have been able to concentrate for a long period. Long periods of concentration builds on the longevity of a person on specific tasks and enables them to work their level best in delivering quality pieces of work. I am now able to focus for a long time working on a project that I have been handed without having a divided attention. A divided focus is harmful to the quality of work produced. Moreover, it compromises the work being done over a long time. I have realized that taking too long on a task is boring and may lead to mediocrity. I can now work on tasks with fixed deadlines and have less time. I know the basics involved in doing a research project. I have been able to know that to conduct a research I will be required to have skills such as documentation which is good in tracking the research. Documentation of a project is important as it makes the work reproducible at any instance.
From the project, I have learned that to avoid issues such as plagiarism I have to credit an author. Moreover, in the documentation of the research, it is important to follow specific formats as every official piece of writing has a structure that it follows. I have learned that it is important to state the contents of a research in terms of word count, and also a table of contents. Fulfilling a stated word count in terms of pages and a specific number of words is important as it indicates honesty. I also know the importance of word count on the quality of the work. An excessively long assignment loses its credibility as ambiguity may set in over time. On the other hand, an assignment that is excessively short will lose its credibility. Hence, I know the essence of precision in writing. Precision is achievable using different ways that include the use of synonyms to shorten excessively long sentences. I have also improved my grammatical skills. I have made a wonderful progress regarding adherence to grammar rules. I know how to punctuate sentences and words properly. I have a better grasp of language and its use when it comes to tenses, pronouns, verbs, and lexical elements of language.
Now, I have a better grasp of public published works. I can balance between a collaborative work and an individual work. Division of labor is an important aspect of the corporate society. This principle also applies to works of research. I have benefited from carrying out the project since I can tackle every type of tasks as I have gained the requisite knowledge over time. I have also known my area of interest from working on the project. I know what is boring and what is interesting to me. This has enabled me to differentiate between the two and I can jumpstart my research career easily. I also realize that continuous exposure to research will make me realize my passion. Over time, I will be able to know what I need to do to succeed in my professional career. I have a direct benefit in my class from what I have learned through research. This comes from the fact that I can understand other pieces of research carried out by others easily. Reading is one thing, understating and disseminating the information is another thing. The project has enabled me to master the art of interpreting a literal piece of work done by another person. I can comfortably use the required skills to handle a big task. One important aspect of a research is on time management. I honed my skills in planning and doing tasks fast.
Conclusion
In conclusion, I now know how to make research components such as Gantt charts. In this way, I can plan my timeline from the beginning to the end. This enables me to the requisites of execution of a task completely. I can plan well and then propel myself to finish any task in record time. Using the learned knowledge on grammar and plagiarism, I am more careful in obeying the rules. For example, I know what plagiarism means and how to avoid plagiarism using various techniques of writing, in cases that I do not have any original information, I make sure to credit the original author. I learned that finances are an integral part of a project and have to be budgeted well. For a successful research project, it is important to ensure that the project remains within the timeline and the objectives are met. In this way, it will be easy to meet the targets that one has set themselves. It is important to beat a deadline, as it is a professional code of conduct. I got a nice experience on several aspects regarding what I was able to accomplish in the research project. I learned that proofreading is an essentiality to any project since one will correct mistakes. Proofreading also helps in cross-checking the work with the objectives and the timelines. Other analytical skills such as the SWOT analysis are important in writing. From the project, I learned how to do a complete SWOT analysis on a subject.
