Live World Music Event
I attended the annual California Roots Music and Arts Festival concert. This was the 7th edition of the event held in California running for three consecutive days where it featured several artists and bands that are known globally. The event had specific artists and bands performing on a single day in Monterey California. The festival is one of the many series of events that are held in a single calendar year in California attracting thousands of fans and performances from world-renowned artists. The concert featured over 45 roots artists in the world namely, renowned Jamaican artists, Tarrus Riley, Antony B, Damian Marley and Stephen Marley who are the sons to the legendary Bob Marley. Also, the artists like Rebulation, Michael Franti, Tribal Seeds, the expanders and the J Boog among others were also featured.
The California roots music and arts festival strictly plays the roots music. The event showcased the various roots cultures and levels of artists. One of the most conspicuous art that was noticed was the Rastafarian culture lived by many roots supporting fans. Through this, many Rastafarians are vegetarians and thus forfeit from consumption of meat. The roots music played is the origin of Jamaican music and it was compounded by the American Roots music. The music showed the simplicity of the people, the need for people to coexist in peace amongst themselves and treat each other equally. This was evidenced from the cools vibes from the various songs performed.

Moreover, the roots music also entailed cool love vibes and special dancing from the dancers who dance in a roots culture.
The roots music concert employed the use of many instruments. The roots music band firstly used brass and woodwind instruments to produce the roots music rhyme. This was also intended to arrive at the various notes both low and high notes when playing the instruments. The old roots music employed the use of horns where artists used them for introductions into the stage or change into the next song. Moreover, the artists together with live bands used guitars specifically designed for that kind of music and the percussion instruments from vintage drums to modem drums and also the strings and the sticks. The presence of harpsichord and the virginal was easily noticed as a form of modern percussion instruments. Also, there were sound systems that effectively made the event livelier in that all cold here the music nd be part of the events. Lastly, there were keyboard instruments like the piano used to produce the roots rhythm from the various artists.
The audience reaction to the music and the event clearly showed how the concert was a success. They reacted in various ways to the different sets of music. The overwhelming acceptance and dance to the music by fans showed how much they loved the music. There was a feeling of happiness, excitement, and serenity when playing the low tone roots music beats accompanied with cool vibes from the artists of self-reflection. Moreover, there were also feelings of intensity and power from the audience when reacting to the different levels of songs due to their intensity and how much the fans knew a particular artist. The event was joyous and fulfilling evidenced by the audience reaction to the whole process.
The California Roots Music and Arts Festival was well organized from the setting, the singing, the dance and the foods and the overall performance of the concert. The concert had a special VIP lounge for the fans who afforded it and also the general lounge for all fans was good. Moreover, the beverages and the foods sold at the concert was spectacular.
