The masculinities are something controversial in these times, and they have been constantly presenting, since there is the variety of circumstances where we ask ourselves, what does this term consist of? What leads to the change of the term "masculinities" of an era to now? Are there really situations where masculinity is currently judged? What are the causes that lead us to a certain dilemma where masculinity only sets on a path to follow? Does this also encompass or come to favor women?

This same term of masculinities is defined as the stereotypes totally marked by a society, and from birth it is where this case is presented, since the maternal or paternal figure are those that are responsible for educating it according to their reproductive system represents it,And this is what this masculinity marks, and in case of absence of the father, uncles, grandparents or even the mother is the one who adopts such behaviors so that the baby develops. It is there where man develops and as time passes is presented as an actor of the superior and with characteristics where he dominates any aspect.

The man reacts in a different way depending on where he is, and this influences the time, culture and others. Masculinity is learning, therefore it can be permanently modified, where this idea is backed by Mead. And it is what is being achieved, it is being able to be modified in a positive way in these times without returning to the prejudices of the past, since previously, if it did not comply with the marked stereotypes it was judged.

In addition, it is learning about what are the needs that are required to be able to meet both men and women. As it is known, women in this aspect of "masculinities" are also protagonists, since they influence positively, and this can come to favor in some way or another, since, if negative gender stereotypes change, women win by living in a society with less violence and more egalitarian. Likewise, women influenced this change, since it is known that since the seventies is when men begin to think of themselves and continue expressing themselves thanks to the influence of the movements that feminists presented in front of society.

That is why man now presents great changes, that is, the need for a “new masculinity, whose concept includes balanced attitudes that account for a male possessor of many positive positive characteristics of masculinity” Kipnis (1991 (1991), among which are to be a completely free, cheerful man. However, this does not mean that every man has to adapt to this change, but it is more than anything to open up in new situations without being closing or based on one thing.

The masculinities of now are extremely important, and it is clearly an issue that requires a lot of deep analysis, since with this the various situations that they present present are understood.

These same guide us in a way of living, affectivity, everyday life, among others, in addition to complying with social roles and, presenting societies where men exercise power over other men, children and women. Male are a social construction and that men are not born but are made, varying their manifestations. Society encourages behaviors, represses others and transmits certain convictions about what it means to be a man. A male subject model is created from the commissions of society.

Working the theme of masculinity requires first and foremost an ethical commitment, since the construction of a new masculinity, entails an effort from everyone and also getting this change that has been achieved not backwards.
