The employees are crucial to the organization and are considered part of the most valuable assets. It is the workers who are in contact with clients mainly in the healthcare industry where the patient needs extra care. The employer is aware of the benefits of having an able and competent workforce to the organization. This the reason behind the HR department mandated to overlook all the matters concerning the staff and ensure they are satisfied with the tasks assigned and workplace. This will improve the rate of turnover and play a significant role in the retention of the workers in the long-run. It is the work of the HR manager to ensure that the staff is motivated to perform the duties assigned in the best way possible (Noe, Hollenbeck, Gerhart, & Wright, 2006). This can be achieved by tackling some of the challenges the employees are facing while at the workplace to avoid any chances of losing morale leading to the increased turnover.
The leading cause of dissatisfaction among the workforce in the organization is the poor compensation and the absence of benefits tied to the job. Remuneration of the staff is one of the critical roles of the HR department and essential in making the employees loyal to the enterprise and content with the pay given by the bosses. The amount paid to workers should be enough for them to have a decent life and should be compelling to make them report to the premises whenever their services are required.
