The paper correctly defines the demographics of the target audience by identifying that 424,101 Haitians inhabited Miami, Florida by 2010 according to the 2010 U.S. Census Report. In narrowing down the demographics to the topic and audience, the paper mentions that 7,163 Haitian immigrants were diagnosed with HIV in the target audience. In addressing other demographic aspects, the paper also mentions that the individuals diagnosed with HIV in the target audience represent 7% of the total 16% reported cases of Black Americans living with HIV in the city. The paper further indicates that more than 70% of Haitians living with the disease have already attained the age of 40. Furthermore, the paper reveals that heterosexual contact is the primary mode of transmitting the disease. In essence, it is proper to state that the paper adequately covers the demographics of the target audience concerning the HIV pandemic.
The paper also correctly identifies the need to prevent the disease from spreading in the community.
