Multi-group Ethnic Identity Measure

The topic of assimilation over isolationism has several reactions depending on different people. Based on the Multi-group Ethnic Identity Measure, my stand on this topic is that immigrant communities should be assimilated into the dominant culture and adopt a new lifestyle. Isolationism is effective having in mind the fact that immigrant communities are likely to retain their customs hence limiting the chances of the culture becoming extinct. However, this is not effective especially in a society that accepts diverse cultures but focuses on the unity of people. Isolationism presents issues with division among people within the dominant community and the immigrant communities which is not the same case with assimilation.
The Multi-group Ethnic Identity Measure played a critical role in my stand and response. According to this measure, it is imperative to have background information on a community which should be considered when reviewing cultural relevancy and make-up of an immigrant population. A sense of ethnic belonging and racial association such as being asian, white or black made me relate to the topic of discussion directly. A proper evaluation of MEIM was effective in eliciting rational thoughts with respect to the subject in question as seen in the case of cultural pride, strong attachment and cultural community practices (Brown et al., 2014). MEIM also touches effectively on tenets of the cultural existence of immigrants, whether assimilated or isolated.

Wait! MEIM paper is just an example!

The measure was very effective and demonstrated my true feelings with regards to culture. The measure contained several questions on key aspects of cultural diversity, affiliations, and loyalty among others hence had a high level of accuracy which is also seen in the discussion topic (Brown et al., 2014). The mean scores on ethnic identity search; commitment and belonging, are solidly attached and based on the wide range of questions that touch on personal ethnic differences which also make the measure accurate and effective.

Thank you for your services, they are really helpful! I was ready to give up my term paper because I just haven’t any idea what to write about. I’ve found a couple of ideas here and finished my piece without hurdles.
