As an adult leaner I should be self-directed. In this case, I should be able to plan, evaluate and implement my own learning experiences without any direction. As an adult learner, one should be able to take the initiative as well as assume the responsibility for the learning. One has to be responsible for their activities and strive to adapt to the expectations of the transitional classroom. This goes hand in hand in appreciating and affirming to the learning environment as well as the resources available. Secondly, I learned that as a leaner I should listen to understand rather than to respond. Listening to understand helped me to appreciate the humanity, value the relationship and develop a posture of discussion and dialogue rather than domination. Further, I learned that I could not be able to know everything and I have in some cases to ask questions in class. In this regard, I always strive to learn new information.
The first way on how I plan to apply my skills is by listening keenly to others especially those who I am having a conversation. I am planning to be more accommodative and try to consider their point of view before presenting mine. When performing, I am planning to focus on the interest and needs of those who I am presenting to motivate them to be attentive. Further, in my presentation, I am planning to create a stress-free environment for conductive and supportive of learning. The situation will facilitate the adult learners to be self-directed in their activities and have their self-esteem respected.

I will apply what I have learned in using deductive and inductive reasoning in the presentation.
