Mock Biopsychosocial Interview Assessment
Overall, I had a rough experience trying to squeeze responses out of the interviewee. Even though I notified him that this was a mock interview, the individual, an adult friend, thought that I had purposefully targeted him. In accordance with the observations made by Reinert and Allen (2007), I developed the feeling that asking consumption questions before symptom questions could affect the willingness of the interviewee to provide valid responses. In the end, the individual agreed to take part in the mock interview after a lot of convincing that involved the efforts of my parents. Getting the person to respond to the first question of the alcohol-screening tool turned out to be the most challenging task in the interview. My interviewee, bearing in mind his position at the community church found it extremely difficult to participate in the interview on the argument that it would force him to lie.
Luckily, the individual changed his stance and accepted to be taking some alcoholic drinks. This marked the onset of the interview even though he was careful to indicate the least amounts or quantities of alcoholic drinks that he took on a daily basis. I expected to encounter some difficulty trying to convince the individual to answer the question that asked the number of instances when he consumed six or more drinks on a single occasion. I also had the feeling that he would deny having failed to do what was expected of him because of drinking.

Wait! Mock BiosychosocIal interview paper is just an example!

Surprisingly, the individual confessed to be taking six or more alcoholic drinks at least once every month. Furthermore, he revealed few instances when he forgot to carry out a certain task because of alcohol.
