I received encouragement to travel to different parts of the world while in high school and college. My parents were always against the idea of traveling to many places while young, and they kept advising me that I should plan on traveling later in life. My passion for traveling made me go against their decisions, and they finally supported me. Therefore, I was in a position to go to Italy, Turkey, London, Cayman Island, Carribean, New Zealand, Mexico and many other places despite residing in the US. Therefore, this paper shall depict the reasons to why my application would be incomplete if I failed to travel to different places in the world.
Travelling made me gain infinite opportunities to network since I was able to make valuable connections. One thing that I learned in my lifetime in abroad is that people are friendly and they appreciate talking of their home and culture. Therefore, the friends that I made abroad gave me an opportunity to see the big world be too little, and it helped me feel more connected in every place that I toured. Henceforth, this has made me never to underestimate the value of networking at both international levels and back at my home country.
My journey to Italy gave me an opportunity to be immersed in a second language. My Italian friends challenged me to communicate with them using their local language. Therefore, this made me struggle and know the meaning of every word in Italy and on the way they are pronounced.

In the long run, I came to understand the beauty of being fluent in another language. Learning more languages has made be to fit and benefit from the highly globalizing world, and it has opened a whole new world for me.
Travelling has played a noteworthy role in my life in building my confidence on how I face and handle issues. I conquered obstacles in foreign countries that I traveled to as I tried to figure out how to use their public transit and asking for simple things in the grocery store. Therefore, this made me build confidence and acquire the ability to adapt to alien locations. On the same note, I was able to realize that I can do things despite the obstacles that come on the way. As one adapts to the new environment, the barriers tend to be less obstructive and display themselves as welcomed challenges.
Similarly, traveling made me get out of my comfort zone as I faced unfamiliar and uncomfortable situations. Back at home, I was very comfortable in my daily roles, and the idea of out of them appeared scary and uncomfortable in my eyes. My day to day activities in abroad made me learn how to act and respond to people and the surroundings. Therefore, I was able to embrace the discomfort in me by connecting with people despite the differences that existed and I navigated foreign environments. Henceforth, I became smarter and competent in most areas of studies and life situations.
In conclusion, traveling has played a crucial role in my life. The act has made me acquire world connections and build my career at international levels. The discoveries that I made in the different nations that I visited opened my thinking capacity and I was able to know how to handle life while young. Henceforth, my application would be incompetent if I had missed an opportunity to travel to different places of the world.
