Dealing with Situations
Dealing with a stubborn customer at the workplace can prove to be the most annoying event as it causes stress. A stubborn customer can be worse in situations whereby the customer perceives you to be on the wrong. The primary effect of such an encounter would be disorientation of oneself. From a personal perspective, dealing with a stubborn customer who harasses me proves to be the most annoying. If the encounter happens during the morning hours, then there are always high chances that the rest of my day always gets spoilt. However, to deal with the situation, I always consider three options. First, I try always to keep my cool to avoid further confrontations. Secondly, if the clients persist with their stubbornness, I do refer them to an official in higher ranks. Finally, I can also avoid them by not giving them my attention. Of the three courses of actions, I find referring them to other officials as the best move to ensure I avoid unnecessary confrontations.
I deal with stressful situations in the workplace using the following three strategies. Accepting that stress as part of life is one of the best ways of dealing with stress. In doing so, they will avoid being affected as much with such cases to an extent they lose their concentration and determination. Another way of dealing with stress is to take care of one’s physical stress.
