Virtual Reality
Enhancing virtual reality is the most important because it can be used in older adults to ease chronic pain, anxiety, depression for military veterans with post-traumatic stress disorder. More importantly, the VR can be embedded in real life to provide more understanding to people about the world around them. VR is increasingly applied as a tool in journalism, teaching, retail stores, and healthcare. Based on my experienced, the ability to induce spatial presence and the sense of being there is one of the unique aspects of the VR in the virtual environment.
The main obstacle in enhancing the virtual reality is that older adults are always overlooked during the application of VR technologies even though it may help in overcoming the aspects of age-related issues they face. The future looks promising when the world unites to tackle this obstacle because technology is one of the potential ways of addressing the needs of older adults. As a result, this can improve the future of the world’s population since VR is a potential method for improving physical health conditions through virtual exercise experiences that can be undertaken at the comfort of the users. Thus, it is clear that VR programs can improve the health of the hip muscles of the older adults as compared to no exercise.
The world can be unbearable to live in case the use of VR is not adopted in the next five decades because people believe that VR will become part of daily life. Similarly, social media platforms such as Facebook see VR as the next big computing platform since it has become the mainstream device.
