Need for Support Groups for HIV-Positive Haitian ImmigrantsThe project is relevant to the target audience as they are the affected persons. The project is aimed at evaluating the need for having support groups for the infected individuals. From the research carried out, it is apparent that the target group is likely to have characteristics that favor the prevalence of the infection. The research project indicates that the group needs programs that will address the cultural beliefs of the Haitians as well as enabling access to health care to enhance elimination of stigmatization of the HIV positive individuals. The research further indicates that the socioeconomic, substance abuse behaviors, as well as culture, are the significant factors contributing to the prevalence of the infection among the immigrants. According to Yardley et al., (2015), behavior change is a gradual process that takes a long time to take place. Therefore, it is essential to focus on behavior change for the success of the initiative, thus, making the research project appropriate for the target group. The main aim is to identify the cultural and social beliefs that contribute to the development of the infection, to enable the researchers to develop effective interventions that will help the success of the project.
Regarding the objective of the project, the first aim is to identify the cultural beliefs, and how they impact to the prevalence of the infection among the immigrants.

Understanding the cultural beliefs is vital in the development of effective interventions and programs that will help in reducing the prevalence. Secondly, the project is aimed at sensitizing the infected persons to adhere to their treatment plans which involve the intake of the medications. The objective is essential as it will help develop interventions to elongate the lifespans of the infected persons (Ormston et al., 2014).
The materials used for the project are professional as they relate to the main objectives of the project. Using the materials will help the researcher get the real insights regarding the project and as a result, enhance the outcomes of the research. Regarding the formatting and grammar issues, there are no notable issues in the project paper.
