Industrial organic food is not much better than conventional industrial food.
A clear understanding of the difference between industrial organic food and conventional industrial food needs to get highlighted before an in-depth discussion on which of the two is better gets done. The difference between these two foods is in the growth of crops. While organic farm produce grows under natural conditions stimulated by nutrients from decomposed plant and animal material in the soil, conventional produce relies solely on the use of chemical fertilizers to foresee their growth. Questions of if organic food is better than conventional food arise. This paper addresses the issue taking the opinion that these two are harmonious and that organic food is not much better than conventional food.
Firstly, conventional produce ensures that there is a constant supply of food to feed the population over time. Organic food has failed to provide this continuity thus causing a shortage. Although organic proves to be safe for people and the environment, it is not sufficient and reliable. Additionally, the higher the quantity of food produced the cheaper the purchase hence conventional food favors the consumers when organic food costs way beyond their pockets.
Moreover, the fact that cultivation of organic food forbids the use of chemicals on farms the crops are at risk of getting infected and not being treated adequately. This factor equally poses risks similar to those that exist when consuming conventional food.

Organic food suffers from small farming as it gets majorly done by small farms. .This aspect has restricted its access to big outlets since they prefer buying from conventional producers who farm on a large scale. This fact means healthier food with less consumption thus not helping the nation. At the end of the day, though organic food is good, it fails to be better than conventional food.
