Equitable healthcare should be provided regardless of varying patient’s social economic status among other variations. To make the right decision, nurses should one; evaluate the various options available through meditation and sharing with the patient. Second, advantages and risk factors of each listed treatment option should be identified. Finally, the best option is arrived at based on the preference of the patient. To help in making a proper decision, nurses can use summarized evidences, fact lists and question prompt list.
Delegation helps the Nurse to have more time to spend on complex tasks. When Nurses delegate some of their duties, they become free without many occupations in their mind. With this, they can focus on solutions to more complex health issues hence able to offer quality health (Ketchum, 2018). The delegation also aids in creating skills to that delegate which may be of help later. Sometimes the number of patients may increase, and hence the skills gained through delegation become useful.
