Personal statement
Interior design is a profession that aims at manipulating spaces while considering aesthetics. I am amazed by natural attractiveness, and it is my desire to incorporate it into the interior by careful planning of the space available. I have a passion for becoming an interior designer since my belief is ensuring that human functionality is maintained through manipulation of interior spaces combined with aesthetics. Interior design is my hobby, and I would love to transform it into a profession give an opportunity to pursue it in your institution. I worked as an interior designer in summer of the year 2014, and I enjoyed the summer job hence making me want to pursue it as a career I adore. Getting a chance to study an undergraduate program in this course will enable me to get into an occupation that will be enjoyable and satisfying.
I am a gifted person, and that puts me in a position to be innovative and find new ways of manipulating the interior space to meet a client’s specifications. I possess leadership skills that place me in a position to head a team and also to work with the team with the aim of meeting set objectives. Further, I have volunteered as teacher’s assessor hence placing me in a position to serve the community. Lastly, I am a bright student with the desire to pass my knowledge to others because I find satisfaction in sharing information. Given a chance to pursue an undergraduate course in interior design will prove worth since it will enable me better my talent and at the same time earn a decent salary from my hobby.
