Personal Statement
Throughout my life, I have always been interested in business-related matters. Indeed, after completion of my high school diploma, I started working in small businesses to help my mother to support my younger siblings. Through the experiences in small business management, I have gained essential skills that can assist me in succeeding in the modern business environment. These skills include problem-solving, self-motivation, project management, team leadership, budgeting, and strong interpersonal and communication skills. For example, I can communicate fluently in Portuguese, Russian, and Ukrainian languages; this has enabled me to thrive in culturally diverse environments. Although these skills have helped me to prosper in the past, I do realize that it is now time to focus on other aspects as I prepare for a career in international business management. According to Wadors, employees must continue learning skills that prepare them for challenges of the modern business environment. It is on this basis that I have made a decision to apply for an international business management course in your institution.
One of the factors that have helped me in my choice for this course is that I am good in calculations. For example, I have worked as a manager for a small business where I assisted in preparing the books of accounts. Notably, I am currently in London where I have enrolled for a course to improve my proficiency in the English language as I realize this is important once I begin the international business management program.

Moreover, my personal experiences in terms of working in culturally diverse environment in London and Porto will enable me to flourish in the program. Your institution offers a chance for me to fill a gap in my current skills, build a professional network, and improve both my personal and professional life.
