Persuasive Speech Outline
Topic: Malaria in developing countries like Africa
Purpose statement: to foster motivation among the audiences to support developing nations like Africa towards fighting malaria.
Behavioral objective: upon paying attention and listening to this speech, the audience will be convinced to donate cash to an NGO under the campaign known as “Malaria no more.”
IntroductionThe horrible disease in Indonesia has resulted in massive loss of human life including children below 10 years. This mysterious disease is malaria.
There are many cases of malaria around the globe annually especially the African countries.
My speech will explore reasons for fighting malaria and steps that can be taken to curb its spread.

Consequences of malaria
Globally, Malaria is one of the deadliest infectious diseases.
It is one of the top-ranked killer diseases since it is evidenced that in Africa, a child dies every minute as a result of malaria.
Treating malaria in African countries cost a total of $12 billion annually. This is an extreme loss of productivity.
Causes of malaria
Malaria is infested by a female mosquito and hence results to fever.
It easily breaks out in a dirty environment
Mosquito nets play a significant role in curbing the spread of mosquito (Jeffrey N.p).
The significance of contributing towards curbing malaria and promoting no more malaria campaign
People will stay in a safe environment that is not prone to malaria.

People will use mosquito nets in the right way rather than using them to catch fish so as to raise a living (Jeffrey N.p).
More drugs will be manufactured to prevent its spread.
Conclusion
It is noted that malaria results in great loss of lives especially for people who originate from developing countries. Therefore, there is a need to help contribute more money to these countries to help curb its spread.
