Levinas,
According to Levinas, the face is a living presence of assurance that gives a person his or her form in a real sense. According to Levinas, face destroys the existing idea of a person to resist any kind of powers. The face is something that forbids a person not to kill.
According to Levinas face signifying the intention of a person while culture believes people appear the way they are because of existing situations or circumstances. The society judge people out of their physical appearance of which according to Levinas’ face contains a hidden meaning.
It is true that the face appears in a context because face implies the real essence of a person and defines his or her motives attitude. When you look directly to a person, you can tell how that person intends to do whether good or bad.
An orientation for thinking induce a sense of cognitive thinking whereby creative thinking is involved in interpreting context prescribed by the face of the object
Derrida, and Heidegger
According to Derrida, Heidegger agrees to principals of humanity based on the fact that he understands the term “which we are” is in proximity to “ourselves” and “itself”. Heidegger confesses that the proximity is ontic thus supporting humanism.
According to Derrida, the new man had both characteristics of the superior man and Superman. The new man was characterized by movement of pity as well as waking up going off without turning back on what he leaves behind him.

According to Derrida, the near and the far means optically near or even near to “we are” and “ourselves”. This is closure to common humanism and ideologies of metaphysics that Heidegger understood as being guided by the motives of “Being as presence”, “of presence” and “in the present” that refers to the essence of a man.
