I think the intervention address adequately the challenges that girls face during their menstrual cycle. Therefore, involving boys in developing a comic book that aimed at reducing the teasing behaviour towards the girls is an effective strategy that will enlighten the boys on the importance of appreciating the biological processes that happen in a female body. During the pubertal development, girl’s chest enlarges as well as their hips and increased baby fat around their belly, hair grows in the armpits and around the private parts. They start having the menstrual. However, boys break their voice, their testicles and scrotum enlarge, pubic hair grows around the private parts, and their breast become sore around the nipples. However, changes in girls can easily be spotted, an aspect that makes them more susceptible as compared to boys. Therefore, the intervention shapes the perception of girls and boys towards the menstrual cycle. Girls would feel more comfortable to speak about it and even face boys when they are teased (Kritz 1). Furthermore, they would learn that they do not have to skip school because there are women across the world that are in their menses each day. Therefore, it is not something to be ashamed of because of the boys’ attitude. On the other hand, boys would feel that it is a normal issue, which happens to every woman across the world. Therefore, they would not look at it as a unique occurrence that requires their attention.

Overall the approach addresses the problem comprehensively.
