The Conflict
Which is the more cost-effective and clinical intervention between the single-use non-coated catheters versus single-use gel reservoir catheters?
Type of Approach to be used
I will be using a quantitative approach to study my area of interest in the evidence-based practice project proposal. Cost-effectiveness is a variable that is easily measurable as it is observable and is easy to back with facts. Therefore, it is not a matter of the opinions of the opinions and the patients. It is not dependent on the feelings and preferences of the patients or the healthcare staff. The factor and variables in question are the cost-effectivenesses and clinical intervention. Simply because someone does not like a certain method does not mean it is not cost-effective, and vice versa. The same applies to clinical intervention. (Khan & Haider, 2017).
PICOT Question (Echevarria & Walker, 2015)
P: Population/patient – the patients should be in need of catheterization. They could be of any age, gender, ethnicity, and with or without disorders.
I: Intervention – the project should consider in what ways the choice of catheters affects the cost-effectiveness of treatment and the clinical intervention
C: Comparison/control – since this project compares two interests, it is a matter of analyzing which one is cost executive even and the things that are a must.
O: Outcome – the financial wellbeing and health of patients is a possible outcome, what will allow them to get quality treatment.
Wait! PLEASE REFER TO THE INFORMATION LISTED IN THE ATTACHED FILE paper is just an example!
T: Time – the research will investigate the subject matter of the variables within one month.
Practice Question
Which method of catheterization, the single-use non-coated catheters versus single-use gel reservoir catheters, offers the best clinical intervention and cost-effectiveness among various patients that need catheterization?
