1) Describe the culture.
Currently, racial discrimination based on identity has been a major cultural issue affecting Americans. Racial prejudice among the Hispanics, Whites, and Blacks in the society have existed since the 1970s and continues to change the living and political environment of most Americans in the current decade (Bonilla-Silva, 2017). Since Obama’s presidency, the unrest over race cases increased, causing tension and conflicts during his term in office. This “open warfare” led amplified during the tenure of Donald Trump as president (Bobo, 2017). Currently, many minorities in this living environment find it hard to survive, given the pressure from the majority groups in the society (Bonilla-Silva, 2017).
2) Describe what you think needs changing.
I think that the political environment of America needs to change for the better. A two-party state like America got divided by race (Bonilla-Silva, 2017). A study conducted on American public opinion argued that the state should have “Two Majorities” that taps the arguments of all individuals and guarantees appropriate redistribution of economics to the people that are less fortunate in the society (Bonilla-Silva, 2017). Individuals in the majority culture/race need to respect the minorities to guarantee a peaceful co-existence in the American Society (Bonilla-Silva, 2017).
3) Describe how you would go about altering it for the better.
I believe that once cultural differences must be solved to guarantee that individuals live a peaceful life in the United States (Bonilla-Silva, 2017).

Politics that divide individuals based on cultural and ethnic backgrounds should be eliminated for the safety of the future. Eliminating the two-party state will significantly benefit Americans (Bobo, 2017). America hopes that in the next decade, the living environment will change for the better.
