Reflective Essay
The growth of artificial intelligence has resulted in the creation of items that are threatening to replace some functions of human beings. I was recently going through my social media pages and I stumbled upon a new product that has been invented to replace women in the lives of men. The doll that has been nicknamed “Samantha” is a sex toy that is the size of a normal human being and has being equipped with feelings and emotions that resemble that of an ordinary human being. Men can therefore buy the big doll and use it to satisfy their sexual needs. The doll is being viewed as a replacement for women in sexual relationships. The construction of the doll raises a lot of moral and ethical issues.
There are many people that are praising the new invention. In fact, it has developed into a war against feminists and masculinists. Most men view it as a recognition of the wants of men since women have had sex toys for a long time. They feel that women should not question the morality of the creation because there recent character and behavior necessitates the creation of the doll. Personally, I feel that the doll raises a lot of question that touches on morality. As a religious person, I feel that the sex toys are encouraging immorality. Many people, including young people, will have access to the doll thus creating a society that is preoccupied with sex culture (Fahs & Swank, 2013). It also cancels the role of human beings of procreation.

People who purchase the dolls will not be able to get their children. It also erodes the sanctity of sex.
