Research Paper Topic: Terrorism
Terrorism is currently the major security threat facing the whole world. Whereas America has experienced the wrath of terrorist attacks, the September (9/11) remains the worst attack that the nation has faced. The attack killed about 3,000 people and destroyed property worth $10 billion (Rousseau et al., 2015). Besides, the Oklahoma City and Boston marathon bombing are other two major attacks of the pre and post 9/11 respectively. Therefore, the research focuses on the Oklahoma City and the Boston marathon bombing.
The Oklahoma City bombing that occurred on April 19, 1995, was one of the major domestic terrorist attacks in America. Like other terrorist activities, the Oklahoma City bombing had casualties that left the country pondering about its security (Jenkins, 2018). The attack killed 168 people, leaving about 500 others injured. The two x-soldiers and members of the patriotic movement acting against the federal government executed the attack (Glenshaw et al., 2007). On the other hand, the Boston Marathon bombing that took place on April 15, 2013, was a domestic attack. The bombing had casualties too, killing three people and injuring other several hundred (Gates et al., 2014). According to studies, two locals believed to have been motivated by Islamic extremism carried out the attack.
Observably, the two terrorist attacks were domestic. Despite being domestic, the two attacks have some lessons.

Wait! RESEARCH PAPER TOPIC : paper is just an example!

Therefore, I believe that the nature in which the two bombings were executed may assist in making some comparisons. Particularly, the two attacks will assist in determining the causes and factors that may motivate local people to engage in terrorist activities. Besides, they will help in comparing how the attacks were organized and implemented. Consequently, the two would gage the level at which the US is prepared to prevent and deal with such occurrences. Hence, the two terrorist attacks can be explored to determine the cause and preventive measures of terrorism, particularly domestic attacks.
