Biographical Information
Saint-Exupery is one of the famous authors. He was a pioneering aviator, poet, aristocrat and a French writer. He was born on June 29th, the year 1900 in Lyon, France. His early education is traced back to Jesuit schools and a Catholic boarding school (1915-1917) in Switzerland. Saint-Exupery who was the third child out of five siblings was raised up in an aristocratic family around his siblings. At the age of twelve, he had his first aircraft ride. In 1922, he received pilot’s wings and also begun to write. Most of his literary endeavors were largely inspired by his adventures as a pilot. The literary endeavors ended with the publication of the little prince in 1944. His father succumbed to a stroke in 1904 after which her mother together with his siblings moved to Le Mans in the year 1909 (“Antoine De Saint-Exupery Biography” N.p). He didn’t manage to pass his final exams at the university but later enrolled at Beaux-Arts to pursue architecture. He later started as a mechanic in 1921 and later the air force in Strasbourg. However, his relatives objected his decision to join air force despite having flown as the age of twelve. Exupery later settled in Paris after taking an office job where he began to write.
L’Aviateur’ is Saint-Exupéry’s very first tale published in the literary magazine in 1926. His career as an author took off in 1928 where he got a promotion to be the Director of Cap Juby Airfield.

There was a point in his life when he secluded himself completely. It was the period when he authored “The Little Prince and The Wisdom of the Sands” that portrayed that he liked the desert. Based on this article, Saint Exupery is said to be nearly a legend. There are several incidents in his life ended by his pronounced death that proves shows that he made great contributions by his literary work. Many of people must have made an acquaintance with him through some of his literary works such as the Night Flight according to some of his friends; he was enthusiastic in furthering some social reforms to liberate humanity from the society’s bonds that are normally inhuman. Triebel states that most of his works are animated by the love of people and the desire for essential human elements. Exupery felt that it is the only personal example that could provoke the same desire in others. The article argues that Exupery “possessed to the highest level of intensity the feeling of the human person” (Triebel 92). This was evident in his life as a scientifically-trained engineer as well as in his profession and his writing. The author states that his humanity is also portrayed by a great level of comradeship to the group that went on a reconnaissance mission.

His meditation in the desert made him write a poem that he used to describe the silence in the desert. He fit all kinds of roles during his lifetime. Robert and Schiff also mention his death during the reconnaissance mission that took place in 1944. His greatness has been portrayed in some of his works done before his disappearance.
Evaluation and conclusion
Based on various sources that present the Biography of Saint-Exupery, the enigma of the writer’s death has not been revealed following a search of the seabed of Mediterranean. However, the riddle of his life has been put on record by different authors. The details about his life were obtained largely as a result of the corporation of his literary executor, his letters, and interviews with some of his close family and relatives. The articles citing his biography major on his lifetime achievements pointing out the several literary works that he authored. His pronounced death came when he was a famous author already. We can conclude that Saint-Exupery is one of the famous authors who has used his profession, his love for humanity as well as his whose literary works to make great contributions to the world of literature. In a nutshell, his biography portrays him as an exceptional writer/author with an artistic and professional fascination for the impact of written language. In his literary works, he took happily took place with no noticeable social class or rank.
