It has always been my dream and goal to be a part of the humbling profession that is nursing. I recognize the role that nurses play in society and how their roles are crucial in the healing and recovery process of patients. I am currently pursuing my bachelor’s degree in nursing. I expect to excel in the various aspects that this profession demands. I intend to be included in activities that will imbibe me to be the best I can be in my line of work. One of my major goals is to participate in movements that will expose me to the various personalities that human beings depict. I understand that knowing and appreciating people of different personalities is an important side of my career and profession. Two of such movements are the Pride of Mid-America Marching Band and the Ball State’s Riley Dance Marathon. I believe that the interpersonal skills I will learn from them are essential in my success as a nurse.
My major aspiration after finishing my degree is to undertake my master’s level studies. I appreciate the role of education in my success as a member of this profession (Robert Wood Johnson Foundation). I am looking forward to gaining more skills at the master’s level of my nursing studies. I am especially passionate about working to help kids with developmental disabilities. I intend to become a practitioner in this field upon completion of my masters. I intend to take part in as many activities as possible as I take my current degree in preparation of the aspiration mentioned herein.
