In nursing, information is highly essential in assessing outcomes in various ways. First, the bedside data helps the nurses to acquire real-time health data. Data on how the patient is behaving and responding to treatment aids in assessing whether the treatment is attaining the desired outcomes.
Once this evaluation has been done, nurses can make alterations in three different ways. First, the caregiver can alter their workload management. The essence is to change the quality of care that is being offered to counter the treatment outcomes accordingly. Second, the services can be adjusted to the benefit of patient satisfaction. In this regard, nurses will collect data that can direct on the best practices that will increase the level of patient satisfaction.
