Songbook is a lyrical work in ‘vulgar’ Tuscan of Francesco Petrarca, vulgar can be defined as the modern conception of romance, it was composed in the fourteenth century, and first published in Venice in 1470. The songbook is composed of 366 poems, of which many are short sonnets.
Petrarca rules out of his vocabulary to excessive cultisms and excessively low words, so that his songbook is composed of only 3275 voices. Thanks to the above, it manages to create a frank language that the cinquecento traders, with Pietro Bembbo at the head, crowned the Italian language for poetry for poetry. Petrarca’s songbook is a witness of one of the crucial periods of history (the passage of the Middle Ages to modernity).
Francesco Petrarca was an Italian lyric and humanist, his poetry resulted in a literary current that influenced other authors, and to this he was named under the generic nickname of petrarchism. As influential as the new forms and issues that brought poetry, with its humanistic ideals tried to harmonize the Greco -Roman legacy with the ideas of Christianity. On the other hand, Petrarca preached the union of all Italy to recover the greatness he had in the time of the Roman Empire. The double status of teacher and poet has allowed him to unravel here with rigor of philologist Petrarca’s thinking and transmit the burning vibration of his spirit as soon as.
Petrarca’s work reflected the experience of a lifetime, spiritual biography, rather than sentimental.

The sonnets from 4 to 9 are with a sentimental narrative (not to say that maybe even sad) and realistic with little dreamy sense as far as I understood. The sonnets are about the existence of someone very good in what he does (God), also that they are love, "if I move my sighs to call you and the name that love in me wrote", and heartbreak "for going aloneTo the laurel, where the fruit is taken, whose bitter pulp the wound afflicts more than comforts it ”, of being sentimentally hurt and maintaining or staying in a state of pain.
In sonnet 7 according to my understanding, it is about the beauty of humanity, a lost humanity and the few who in the end manage to save themselves or are saved. Sonnet 8 is more about nature in itself "at the foot of the mountain in which the beautiful earth of the earthly body dressed first the beautiful one that often in crying alters the dream of you today gives us", and about how the manThey have managed to ruin and hurt her, while the sonnet 9 talks about a golden beast (the sun) and how she gives us life and everything that surrounds us.
From my point of view I think that the sonnets of 4 to 9 are based on who we are and the nature that surrounds us.
