This method of teaching is easy to convey and cover information that is unfamiliar to participants. Moreover, this style is usually efficient for auditorium students or centers composing of students. Therefore, the approach will be essential for high institutional learning. Accordingly, the lecture approach will involve a combination of academic information and visual aids regarding breast cancer to keep the interest and attention of the students to the topic. Images of cancerous cells found in the breast of the men and women will be used and the people affected by cancer.
The prevalence of breast cancer has increased rapidly in many regions across the world. Cancer develops in the breast cells where they grow uncontrollably to form a malignant tumor. Women are at a higher risk of developing breast cancer than men. According to Breastcancer.org. (2018), about one in eight women in the United States get invasive breast cancer during their life. The rates of death for this cancer among the US women is higher and almost similar to lung cancer. The highest risk factor associated with breast cancer is being a woman and growing older. Other risk factors include smoking, lack of childbearing, estrogen high levels, particular dietary patterns, obesity, and family history having breast cancer (Kabel & Baali, 2015).

However, many ways exist that can help keep the body healthy and reduce the risks of breast cancer. Although these steps help to eliminate the risk, they do not eliminate the risk of breast cancer development.
