Communist Manifesto
Marx’s Communist Manifesto reflects and attempts to elaborate the Communism goals and the fundamental concepts being outlaid by the movement. The manifesto claims that the struggles of social class or the exploitation of a class by the other are motivating forces that have established the historical developments. As such, the relationships of the different established classes are based on the era of production. Eventually, these class relationships may no longer be compatible with the forces of development in production sectors. For instance, at a certain point, a revolution occurs, and this force causes a new class to emerge as the most prominent. Marx denotes that these processes of class changes are significantly attributed to aspects of economic forces.
The theory of Marx was developed as a result of the hardships that the employees in England, Germany, and France faced in the 19th century. The development of industrial revolution led to the creation of a permanent class of employees. Most of these workers lived in poverty situations and experienced terrible working environments and with minimal political representation. In this regard, the Communist Manifesto was published just before the 1848 revolution in Germany. Some of the claims and predictions of the Communist Manifesto were later revised because of the employees’ conditions and the youth revolution. However, the structure of the Marx’s arguments and the revolutionary tone could not be changed not until the “productive labor ceases to be a class attribute” (Marx, Engels & Gasper, 2005, p.

171).
The industrial situation in the modern society is specifically characterized by the conflict that existed between the bourgeoisie and proletariat. The ascendancy of the bourgeoisie led to the rise of a new social class that labored in the bourgeoisie industries. This class of wage-laborers was known as the proletariat who did not have their own means of production. They were reduced to selling their labor skills for survival needs. These were the terrible consequence of the bourgeoisie production aspects. As such, the expansion of bourgeoisie industries and the increase of their capital made them dominate politically, socially and economically over the different classes of the proletariat as well as the artists and small business entrepreneurs. Marx quoted that the products produced by bourgeoisie are their own grave-diggers because the fall and triumph of the proletariats and communists are inevitable.
The forces of capitalism are increasingly becoming not compatible with the exploitative relationships. Therefore, the aspects of the proletariat may result in the development of a revolution where, “All tht is Solid melts into air, all that is holy is profaned, and man is at last compelled to face with sober senses, his real conditions of life, and his relations with his kind” (Marx, 2010, p.1828). The new revolution will portray a different feature than the previous revolutions. The previous aspects of revolutions fundamentally reallocated wealth to favor a rising class that gained dominance. However, because of the nature of a class, the proletariat members do not have a way of appropriating the wealth. Therefore, if they gain control, all ownership of wealth will have to be destroyed, and this would cause the social classes to disappear gradually.
Marx’s Communist Manifesto claims that the form of development caused by proletariat will be inevitable and that the aspect of capitalism is not stable. Moreover, the Communists have the intention of promoting this form of revolution and further promote associations and people who are navigating the history towards its natural conclusion. The Communists argue that the social classes cannot be eliminated through the development of reforms of governmental changes. Rather, there is a fundamental need for the development of a new revolution. Therefore, Marx’s Communist Manifesto predicts the rise of communists over the capitalist through the forces of nature that will bring about a new form of revolution.
