Introduction
This is a text comment on literary work Pedro Paramo, written by Mexican Juan Rulfo. Next, some of the most relevant data of this literary work will be shown, as well as the characteristic aspects observed in the same.
Literary analysis
Within the novel Pedro Paramo are two main stories.
The first story is narrated by Juan Preciado, son of Pedro Páramo, who goes to a town called Comala in search of his father, whom he never met because his mother separated from him before he was born. This story is narrated in the first person, by Juan Preciado, linearly: from when he arrives at the Comala people until he dies, it is even after he concludes when he tells his story;a dead telling the last moments of his life.
The second story is Pedro Paramo. This story is narrated in the third person and non -linear, because he jumps in time: he tells when he was a child, when he has his first wife, when he becomes a chief and others. The story in his narration comes and goes, they are as fragments of their history without a clear order.
These two stories are interspersed, and even more about this pair of main stories, there are loose dialogues and monologues of different comala characters introduced into the novel, which narrate different situations of their life.
The first story can be interpreted without problems, you just have to have pending where it is cut and what continues.

In the narration of Juan Preciado an era is narrated where everyone has already died and the people are desolate. However, in the third person narration of Pedro Paramo, the time where everyone is still alive is presented;A time prior to Juan Preciado.
