Again, it can be argued that the social media help people remain connected. The main function of social media is to enable people to connect with families and friends in every day’s fast growing and ever transforming societies. Furthermore, people can remain flexible and can diversify their jobs because they can do their work while at home or anywhere across the globe for any organization (Sarri 19).

Critics claim that the social media and the Internet are causes of major friendship issues. Online social connections with social networking sites have been initiating new relationships and ending several others. They have made it simple to communicate and exchange plans and pictures with a user and attain it totally under wraps (Sarri 20). The social media sites have placed trust to the boundary. Furthermore, it is argued that the Internet and social media contributes to the rising problem of cyberbullying. The users, especially the young children, are being bullied and harassed on the Internet. The problem of cyberbullying is inflicting mayhem all over the globe. Ultimately, the Internet and social media are major contributors to the various business scams encountered in several parts of the world. Many scammers are found everywhere in the world and operate online with the primary intent of deceiving others.
