Trunk rotation with extension
Lateral weight shift – most of the weight shifts to the right. Trunk Flexion – required when the patient is preparing the shirt and inserting arms into the sleeves.
Trunk Extension – required when the patient realigns the trunk, pulls up the shirt up the sleeves, and when inserting the head into the shirt (Gillen, 2015).
Trunk rotation with extension – required when the patient is reaching out posteriorly and while trying to adjust the orientation of the shirt.

Lateral extension Lateral weight shift – most of the weight shifts to the right.
Posterior weight shift Trunk Flexion – required when the patient is reaching out for his/her feet.
Trunk rotation with flexion – required when the patient has to use the more functional arm to reach out for the opposite foot (Gillen, 2015).
Trunk extension – required when the patient is trying to realign the trunk to its previous position.
Lateral extension – required when the patient is pulling the pants up over the buttocks and the hips.

Trunk Flexion Lateral weight shift – the shift can either be to the right or the left depending on the side where the tissue is positioned.
