To achieve a $1000 savings in my emergency fund account by May 30th 2020 with the help of earnings from working two extra hours for $3 every evening at a grocery store.
Specific: Save a $1000 for my emergency fund.
Measurable: To save $50 a month.
Actionable: By working evening hours for two hours a day at a neighboring grocery store, I will be able to earn an extra revenue of $100 per month.
Realistic: My deadline for attaining this target will be one year from now which will give me enough time to work and save a portion from my earnings every month.
Time Bound: Achieve the target by October 30th 2020.
I would use a locked savings account to enable me to limit my spendings since I will not withdraw the money until the set target is met (Action Verbs for SMART GOALS, n.d.).
To improve my writing skills by January 30th 2019 by attending the weekly grammar classes offered at School for my blog postings and extensive reading both online and from the school library.
To increase my blog traffic by 120 unique visitors a week through expanding my weekly blog, publication timetable from three posts weekly to five as well as raising the minimum words in a blog from 800 to 1600 words and using the gained skills in search engine optimization techniques. I can also use my blog to advertise my business to increase sales.
To lose 15 pounds in five months to be ready for my brother’s wedding by going to the gym and incorporating the right diet.

To complete a diploma in information technology as recommended by my tutor by February 2020 to be able to graduate and qualify for my dream job at a media and IT company.
To purchase a new brand x car by 2021 for my travelling and business needs with the help of my savings and investments.
