PART2.
After the 1st world war, the Allied forces had defeated the central power. The Allied-led by France had several negotiations that culminated in the signing of Treaty of Versailles at Paris which was supposed to put up measures that would ensure the world remained at peace. A new league of the nation was created which exempted German from joining until 1926.German boundaries were also ratified, all German colonies were stripped away, and other financial obligations were imposed on Germany. The war had seen Europe and the Middle East boundaries redrawn as the fighting brought about the invasion of small countries by foreign powers.
With the passing of the Versailles treaty then the central power countries led by the Germany were supposed to pay reparation payments either in cash or obligations that were passed upon them for the role they had played in the war.
The treaty of Versailles was met with a lot protest from the Germany, as Germany felt that it had been victimized so much by the treaty and this led to the rise of more radicle leaders who were out to return the glory of Germany. One such leader is Hitler who rose by exploiting the resentment that Germany had against European powers. One other leader who tried to start a revolution by exploiting the masses emotion was Vladimir Lenin a Russian who started a party named Bolsheviks.
Because Germans elected Adolf Hitler to be their Fuhrer, it becomes clear that the Weimar Republic was not going to respect the treaty even after a lot of pressure from France. The alternative was to make appeasement to Hitler demands in order to avoid the looming war that became inevitable.
This was partially due to Germany was practicing Totalitarianism and that Hitler yielded much power and that he had the support of the citizen.
Historians have torn apart if the rigorous enforcement of the treaty by the France and Britain resulted in the 2nd war or was it the treaty was too harsh.
