Dear Gaynor:
I am Michael Stuart, one of your regular customers at your restaurant. I would like to report my concerns about the quality of the services that I received on date 10th November 2016. I bought an egg drop soup, under receipt number TXZ 201654, of which I was very disappointed in the middle of the meal. I found the human hair in the soup making it unbearable and irritating to continue with my meal. I also noticed that the floor was filthy with spots of soup and other food remnants that had dropped.
The incident affected my perception about the hygiene of the restaurant, thus forcing me to raise a complaint. The hair could only serve as an example since one of my friends had pointed out that he once found a dead cockroach in his soup, some days back. Previously, I enjoyed spending my lunch time at your place, but I am afraid to report that if this is not taken corrected, I will be forced to get an alternative dining place. I am convinced that poor hygiene and carelessness among your employees may cost the lives of the customers as the meals can cause infections to the consumers. Besides, the image of the business can be affected as everybody might go out there demarketing your services because of their experience with your services and products.

I would also like to report that the situation is alarming basing on the personal experience at the premise on the same day. The environment at the dining tables and the rooms as a whole was questionable. There were flies all over with wet floor that had some place unattended to by the cleaning team. The situation was entirely different from the past period when everyone would wish to be associated with your company.
Brand name and customer loyalty are the key factors of business success. Untidiness and careless activities from the side of employees might force the customers to go away with fear for their health and their concerns for quality services. The problem can also cause the company to be called off for some time or permanently by the health and environmental department. I like the company in general, and I will not be comfortable to see it brought to the feet when there is still room for change. I would recommend that the supervisors in the kitchen, as well as those in the dining rooms, should try to be responsible with their duties. They should ensure that the chefs and any other person involved in serving the customers wear the corrective garments recommended by the ministry of health. The cleaners should also be reminded of their work as the environment act as the first incentive that customers can get from an organization. Last but very vital, you might consider increasing employee motivations through activities such as extra job training or paying for them refresher courses as well as allowing them night-outs. A motivated staff will work hard in ensuring that the customers get the best out of the restaurant.
Although my observations might not have sounded good to you and the organization, I am glad to have had this opportunity as a stakeholder to remind you of the areas that might need to be addressed.
