I was aware of an important assignment for the next day, but it was a busy day, and I came home late at night. However, I was determined to sit down and finish my work. The reason why I did not manage to upload the task on time was the problems with the Internet connection. The internet affects my schoolwork significantly and studying without the ability to use the online network is challenging for me.
The Internet was down last night due to technical issues. The server of my Internet provider crashed, so the connection was impossible until morning the next day. I am a very responsible person and it is important to me to complete my assignments on time. The problems with Internet were unexpected and it was night so I could not go to any cafe with WI-FI. Furthermore, according to the fourth rule of netiquette, it is crucial to respect the time of other people even (Shea 60). Therefore, I have decided not to call the professor or some of my friends because I respect their right to rest and cannot bother them at night.
Admittedly, the Internet helps significantly in the process of studying because a student use search engine to find information and has access to online school libraries. In my situation, I could not use the Internet to do the research and complete the task. Furthermore, the draft of my paper was a google document, and without the Internet connection, I could not open it.
The incident with Internet connection showed that modern students strongly depend on technologies, and World Wide Web in particular.
Wait! Your internet was down last night and you weren’t able to turn in your last assignment. paper is just an example!
I am very sorry that I could not manage to upload the assignment on time. This happened to me for the first time, and in the future, I will do everything possible, so the situation does not repeat.
