Youth Ministry
Philosophy is an academic discipline that defines the nature of reality, existence and wisdom. Philosophy of the youth ministry is the theory that refers to the ministry associated with the religion of Christianity or any other religion (White, 48). The purpose of the youth ministry is to shepherd and give hope to the youths. The youth ministry administers its ministry by spreading the gospel to the age between childhood and the adulthood also referred to as the youth. Its other purpose in our society is to create an effective world for the disciples of the body of Christ.
What has been learned from the youth ministries is that it is an influential tool for the youth. The church where the youth ministry lies is an influential tool in that it shapes the youth to be good role models in the society. It also rehabilitates the lost disciples and turns them to the right path with good morals and support emotionally and even financially.
The youth ministry needs to improve in many areas. The youth ministry should be stable regarding their core value and purposes (White, 48). The shifting and the instability of a youth ministry can mislead youth disciples and may also not be good models to the youths in the society. The youth service should not only base its activity in being only missioners but also be simple and not abrupt. Youth ministry should not also be based in one area and expect that the youths should come to them, it should be a two-way ministry.

Wait! Youth Ministry Coursework Example paper is just an example!

One way is that they should expect youth is approaching them and on the other hand should go out there to reach the youths to where they are located.
The youth ministry dreams and goals are to bring salvation to the youths by rendering gospel messages to the youths. The youth ministry also builds a foundation of hope and faith by better knowing Christ, obeying Him and following Him. The youth ministry dream services are to bring Christian services among the youth (White, 48). Christian services are to be given by helping students to realize their gifts that are spiritual to bring an advancement the kingdom of Christ and in the entire world. The youth ministry goals are to ensure leadership skills among youths who can be able to minister to other youths towards faith.
Co values and approaches about discipleship are to build trust among youth leaders and the disciple youths. The trust ensures that the youths learn to be responsible and grow to be good leaders. The missions should be enjoyable in being stimulating and exciting for the youths to participate. The youth ministry should be evangelical through bible studies, personal testimonies, and services that aid youths to become part of the Christ ministry (White, 48). Through worships, opportunities for concerts and other presentations based on art are available. Biblical depths and translations help the youth understand better the Bible and can get moral themes from bible verses.
Unique ways of involving parents to youth ministries are being discussed and are seen important to helping encouragement of parents to youths to participate. There is a big gap that has been seen as youths are being emphasized much than their parents to participate in youth ministries. The youth ministry is not only a ministry to the youths but also to adults and the entire community (White, 48). Soccer teams which involve the parents and youths have been successful in some Christian ministries. Soccer has been a game that has brought parents to participate in youth ministries.
Ownership of the youths to experience the youth ministry is a way that the youths will feel a sense of belonging and as a part of the ministry. The experience of belonging makes youths feel important in that they feel that without them the ministry is not complete. The feeling of being part of the ministry encourages many to participate. Increasing the segregation of youth to the life of the church would fit into the overall youth ministry strategy.
Events and activities that are special to increase participation, fun, and creativity include picnics for the whole congregation. The picnic will encourage parents, leaders, and youths to interact and in the interaction, a youth can ask for advice or solutions to life challenging problems. Dances that are made the festival and also dances that are made for competition among other youth ministries brings fun to the mission of the youth ministries (White, 53). Carols and cocoa in Christmas and prayer partner’s interactions and a chance to choose also involve many youths and also adults in the youth ministry.
The youth ministry challenges the life of a person to change when one is getting involved in immoral habits. The sense that there is a person you trust is a clergy or a youth leader has the full support of you emotionally and when having life challenges aids in turning into the Christ ministry. My faith has increased and grown by listening and understanding other people’s needs and knowing that i am leveraged to have all the needs that I need in my life.
Balancing ministries and also the needs of the family is easy and manageable. The reason behind it is that ministries only consume less time and minimal days in a week. Most ministry missions are usually in periods of Christian holidays and on Sundays (White, 48). Family needs are basic and most hours especially weekdays are the time to meet family needs. Family free time and holidays can also involve some of the ministries activities. Example of soccer, the entire family can get involved in soccer that is organized by the ministry, and through the football, the family also enjoys and comes together.
