Re: Application for the Position of Special Events Intern
As a young, motivated person, I am interested in applying for a position of special event intern at Catholic Charities of the Archdiocese of New York. The application is a response to a recent advert by the organization on their website. I hope and believe that my skills, experience, and educational achievements, make me the most competent candidate for this position.
I have an associate in arts degree, majoring in writing and literature from Borough of Manhattan Community College. Currently, I am majoring in English-Creative Writing and Theatre Studies as minor course at Hunter College. I will graduate next year in June. As a musical instrument management intern in the Children’s Aid Society, I assisted students with packing and moving musical instruments to different schools for daily concerts and recital practices. Thus, I have a Comprehensive event planning background and experience. Your firm places prominence in event planning. Thus, having the privilege of serving as an intern will accord me a chance to further exposure that I need for my career.
My greatest motivation includes the desire to learn new things, and the challenge to meet the need of an institution. I will sincerely appreciate if I am accorded a chance to discuss my application with you in details in an interview.
