Colonial America up to 1700: There is a realization that this period saw an increased number of Europeans in the United State’s territory. Although many of the Europeans were much in association with colonial activities, there is an acknowledgment that their settlements came with various economic activities, such as the operation of shops, which saw the transformation of the United States in an indirect way.
British America up to 1770: With time, there came to be a regard of the British Colonies in America as British Americans. After the declaration of independence, the British Americans came to possess more wealth than the rest of America. Such a turn of events led to economic transformations whereby; the Native Americans had to work hard to gain money while the British Americans appeared much settled with their wealth.
The American Revolution: This aspect denotes the political upheaval that happened between the years 1765 to 1783 whereby; thirteen American colonists decided to reject the British Monarchy and aristocracy. The change brought about the destabilization of workforce and destruction of industrial property hence giving negative turns to the economic transformations, (Layton, 32).
A New Nation (1781-1789): The American Revolution gave birth to the new nation which had pillars on peaceful existences. Such environment provided the Americans with the right atmosphere for conducting business and other economic engagements hence; enhancing the economic transformation.

There were also the right channels of improving other economic transformation aspects such as stabilization of the currency and exchange rates hence positive enhancement to the economy.
Formative Decade (1790-1799): The previous conflicts had given rise to weak economic ventures due to the fights hence destabilization of the economy The formative years saw much engagement into economic activities that had a great focus on the reformation of the various sectors, among them, the economy.
Early Republic (1800-1815): This period saw the formation of the valid grounds for the structures that would support economic transformations in the right way. For instance, there was the strengthening of the judicial services through the hiring of many juries, who included women, hence ensuring that there would be the completion of cases, including those touching on economic aspects, in short periods. Paving the way for the abolitionists and women rights leaders also contributed positively to the economy as many women were able to venture into economic activities, directly or indirectly, without facing many barriers like there before, (Hanes & Susan, 8).
Market-Transportation Revolution: This revolution came with great impacts to the economic transformations Market changes ensured that there were ready markets for many of the products which would not get a stable market in the past. The transportation revolution also made significant change as there was high likelihood of having goods to reach the market in the right time hence enhancing the economic
The Era of Good Feelings: This aspect denotes a period in the history of America whereby; there came to be the existence of the sense of national goal and a strong desire for unity. These sentiments came after the Napoleonic wars. The feeling of unity and common purpose went to great extents in enhancing economic transformations through instilling attitudes of working hard to uplift the social, economic status of the people, (Hanes & Susan, 12)
Age of Jackson: The most significant feature of this era was the trashing of the White House by the buckskin-clad frontiersmen in the celebration of one of their own. The election of Jackson signified much of balance of political power. Such heights brought confidence in the Americans concerning engagement into economic activities, just like in the other spheres, hence enhancing the economic transformations in the country.
Antebellum South: This phrase regards the South Carolina during the time of the civil war. The increment of cotton cultivation in this era brought about two main issues. There was the increase in the economic undertakings leading to positive economic transformations. However, there was an escalation in the slave trade for the labor in the cotton plantations which brought a lot of turmoil hence, derailing the efforts of economic transformation in the other sectors.
Age of Reform: This era regards the period of the three movements including the populist and the new deal in 1930. During the time, there was the conviction that the government had efforts of destroying agricultural trade using stereotypes, (Ihalainen, 81). However, there came to be much economic transformation through the turning of agriculture into more commercial and industrial than the era before.
Western Expansion: The expansion of American towards the West started a long time. Even during the colonial period, there was an orientation to the West. The link of the western expansion to economic transformation came with war with Mexico and the suppression of the native nations of the West in the efforts of enhancing the Western expansion.
The Ominous Storm (the 1850s): The storm regards the admission of Carolina into a free state. There was Congress abolition of the slave trade which contributed to economic transformations by allowing the free individuals to work in a free country and contribute to the economic growth in a healthy manner.
Civil War: the engagement into the civil war brought negative twists to the economic transformations as there was the lack of peace and also the heavy usage of funds to sustain the fights. However, the end of the war brought positive economic transformation as there was unity with the states in the Confederate during the war.
