Five-Year Goals
Five years may appear to be a long period but with a set of precise life goals, the five years may pass so fast. Therefore, as I reflect on my future, I have many dreams and aspirations and in five years I am convicted that I will have achieved these dreams. In five years to come, I would like to acquire a degree in human resource management, become a human resource manager in a well-known company, and start a vegetarian restaurant.
Acquiring a degree in human resource management is my priority. With the degree, I can seek a human resource management job in a reputable corporate organization. From the job, I can accumulate sufficient knowledge and skills to start and run my business efficiently. Being a HR manager involves performing different tasks that focus on the people, policies and systems within an organization (Collings and Wood 2). My roles will therefore be to ensure procedures and policies are followed. However, there are several skills I will require to develop throughout my professional timeline and therefore I have created a SWOT analysis to illustrate my current threats, strengths and weakness. I will utilize my CDP plan to eliminate weaknesses and also improve my SMART goals.
After accumulating sufficient capital and skills, I will start a vegetarian restaurant. There are several benefits of starting the vegetarian restaurant. Firstly, by owning the restaurant, I can control my destiny. Secondly, I can find my work and life balance by developing personal schedules and priorities.

Wait! Five Year Goals paper is just an example!

Thirdly, I can take on the risks and enjoy the rewards without being questioned. For the vegetarian restaurant business to be successful, I will practice frugal living by saving thirty percent of the monthly income and fifty percent of every increase. The ultimate goal of human life is to be happy (Aristotle). Therefore, by achieving success; I will have achieved the most worthwhile goal.
