A workshop that is friendly to the wait staff
A motivated wait staff will obviously do a good job, work with a lot of ease, fun and also be dynamic. A case like the one identified in this case study where the customers are frustrated with the inconsistency of services and the complaints arising from the wait staff on the low average tips, in this case, is evident of lack motivation in the workshop fraternity. In this regard, a Sarah must remain strong and also give each of the wait staff an individual focus and recognition so that the each of them may end up becoming successful. Due to this reason, if am in the shoes of Sarah, I may deploy various options to ensure the motivation of a wait staff towards realizing success in the organization discussed below.
As a leader, I will engage the wait staff in the discussion of the benefits associated with success. In this case, I will discuss the positive outcomes of realizing the objective. Another way that as a leader, I may use to enable this team to works hard is through ensuring that they develop the interest in the activities of the organization. Sometimes it could be that the wait staff has lost interest such they resort to coming late while some opting not to even pick my calls. So bringing the interests of the team members back to the group’s activities will stand a chance of making further into being motivated, working harder and in turn avoiding to be late or even failing completely to attend to the group’s activities.

Wait! How I would describe and construct a workshop for the wait staff paper is just an example!

Finally, as a team leader, I would rather revise on the already established goals of this organization to find out if they are realistic and also attainable within time-frame targeted. Where the members realize that goals set by the organization are hard to achieve, they end up losing focus thus being late as noted in the case study. Realistic and attainable goals, for this reason, would lead to the members being ambitious and self-driven towards fulfilling the group’s activities and at the end leading to the improvement in achieving the goals of the group altogether.
