The Economic Improvement in the U.S
The state of the economy is one of the most influential and significant topics at the heart of any country across the world. As a result, I will talk about how the U.S has advanced economically over the past few years by looking at the basic economic indicators; the GDP levels over time, the employment rates, and inflation levels.
Looking at the economic state of the U.S over the last few years, anyone can reasonably claim that its economy has greatly improved although at a relatively slow rate. To start with, the country’s GDP level has improved by 4.1% in the 2nd last quarter of 2018. This was far above the 2.2% increase in previous periods as well as the greatest growth rate from the last quarter of 2014. Also, the job market in the U.S has significantly advanced with the economy now nearing full employment. This has been influenced by increased industrialization as well as improved education systems across the States. Although the economy experienced some sort of slack in the workforce in the last few years due to small wages, the employment rate remains strong in the state. Moreover, looking at the inflationary levels of the country the rate has greatly reduced from 2012 to reach the target of 2%. This has been achieved through tax reduction particularly in major areas like transport, medical and food hence ensuring price stability. It is also relevant to note that the U.S interest rates over the past few years have been on the lower levels due to several financial crises experienced in the state.

However, the levels are beginning to rise resulting in desirable economic improvement.
In conclusion, it is now clear that although the economic stand of the U.S has been experiencing several challenges, there has been a continuous economic improvement in the country every year. I tend to imagine that the underlying factors that have been hindering the economic progress of the country over past few years can be lifted so as to arrive at the desired development trajectory.
