Sensory Profile
The sensory profile is categorized into four sections, most of the sensory responses, as per my score indicate a great response that could be associated with that of most people. My low registration (Engel-Yeger, & Dunn, 2011) for instance, is 25/75 falling into a category of how most people respond. However, it also indicates that I could be slow to respond to some stimuli in the environment. Whereas when it comes to sensation seeking (Engel-Yeger, & Dunn, 2011), it is much lower, with a score of 40/75, which speaks to my avoidance of situations that could cause risks or trigger irrelevant stimuli. My record on sensitivity avoiding (Engel-Yeger, & Dunn, 2011) is however quite high, recording a score of 59/75 which is a clear indication of how fast I am willing to run to escape a sensory stimulus. For instance, I will choose to avoid crowded places or any situation that something unexpected could happen.
In sensory sensitivity (Engel-Yeger, & Dunn, 2011) the results were quite positive, indicating not being quite different from others despite the diverse sensory responses. The results were a score of 39/75 (Brown, Tollefson, Dunn, Cromwell, & Filion, 2001) a clear indication to the responses of many humans, e.g., similar concentration in class or meetings. Nonetheless, there is need to avoid some situations but also face up to some challenges in life; not just to be as most people are but to enable me to attain much courage to overcome any situation that might cross my path.

As I walk the journey, however, there is need to help someone else who might also be facing the same challenges as I am. In my intervention, therefore, I focus on a routine activity such as exercising and overcoming the fear of crowds or facing situations where I don’t know what could happen next; risk-taking. E.g., moving to a new place, or taking up a new job.
