Patron Festivities of the Canton Passage

 On November 1 of each year I celebrate with the other citizens the anniversary party of my passage canton, this event has a great cultural value for the entire passage population;It should be noted that this does not begin that day, but maintains a varied agenda since the beginning of October. Every four years various reforms are made in the festivities schedule, depending on the authorities in force in that cycle;However, we always keep the same cultural tradition that is accompanied by a proclamation, orchestras, the choice of the Queen of the Canton and the Queen of Cocoa.

The cultural proclamation that takes place on November 1 of each year is a tribute that companies, schools, schools and academies both public and private perform as part of their training and respect towards our canton;On this day we meet all citizens to delight one morning and afternoon full of musical bands, groups of dancers and artists. The presentations that I can frame are the traditional dances carried out by the groups belonging to the Municipal GAD and the Province;Likewise, guest groups from other cities that become part of this cantonization tribute.

The allegorical cars are an indispensable source on these dates, I can say that one of the most entrenched traditions to the passage roots, since creativity and imagination are seen to adapt trade and history activities, cars rows by frameting agricultural issues such as: thecocoa, coffee and bananas;Also, funds that have to do with the production of shrimp and flowers are appreciated.

A number of colors and costumes of each group that is presented, the queens of other cantons that enhance the beauty of our province and our authorities hook my vision on this day.

In this mayor’s period, a broad agenda was recorded for the commemoration of this anniversary, this range of events began with the photography contest, the open house where the services provided by the Municipal GAD, the presentation of the candidates for queens and the21K race;ending with the international concert of two great artists and live speech.

The holidays are a method used for many years to provide affection and pride to the commemorable places or dates, so I want to express my pleasant estimate towards each group that meet at these festivities;Also, mention that every year there are new reforms to celebrate the anniversary of my canton and invite more people to be part of this act. Finally, I will emphasize the hospitality we have and provide the passage to tourists, because we have several places for this purpose.
