Political Campaign Assignment
The campaign approach of my choice involved engaging people in group discussions about some of the issues facing members of the community. During the brief meetings, I ensured that my interpersonal skills were perfect and that people felt free to express themselves on crucial issues. Another significant aspect of the meetings is that they allowed us to discuss some of the potential solutions to the problems people were facing. Another approach I used was to visit essential infrastructure in the community and interact with people as I saw how social amenities such as schools and hospitals were performing. The close interactions with community members helped me understand their issues firsthand.
The activities I got involved in fit within the course readings since holding discussions, and group meetings with community member’s helped me minimize my campaign budget and expenses and to reach more people which is one of the course objectives. Additionally, visiting people in schools and hospitals helped me get an idea on some of the community projects that would have helped to solve people’s complications hence eliminating propaganda and bias by interacting freely with community members.
According to some of the major news outlets, one of the main issues facing the minority in the community is getting quality healthcare. The main campaign activity which has had me focus on the problem is visiting the hospitals to interact with people on their views on the quality of care given.

The visits and interactions facilitate my mastery of cultural diversity and leadership skills. One of the ways I sought to succeed was by holding numerous group meetings with community members to increase the number of my supporters while also ensuring I eliminated propaganda on my candidature. Conclusively, interactions with different people also helped me understand the influence of cultural diversity in politics.
