Admission Essay
It is important for a person to have knowledge on how to interact with people that come from other cultures. Schools are places that bring people from different cultures. It is therefore important that one understands various cultures for them to be able to interact with people positively. As an individual, I have been brought up to be tolerant to various differences that exist amongst us. The key differences include racial, class, and people from other countries. I come from a different culture that would help in adding up to the diversity that exists in the university. As an African American, I have been brought up to respect the various racial categories that exist in our society. Every human being is equal to the other hence racial categories should not be used to discriminate against other people. An understanding of diversity would therefore help people to relate positively with one another without being mindful of the racial category that one belongs to.
Once one understands that human beings are equal regardless of the differences in color that exists among people, then they will be able to interact positively with one another without minding the racial category of an individual (Wertsch & Sarai, 2016). I am committed to developing positive relationships with the people that I interact with in the duration of course. The relationships will be forged on the benefits that each individual stands to gain as opposed to the racial categories that a person belongs to.

Each person should have an open mind to accommodate people from various racial categories. It is also important for everyone to be dedicated to the enhancement of mutual relationships that promote togetherness in the community. People should be focused on enriching relationships with people that come from different cultural groups.
