Admission Essay
Under the motivation to advance my skills in sports, I am applying for further studies in this area of study. I am a professional softball player; I am playing softball since I was 8. I have played several games, all of which continue to record remarkable performances. As a member of the team, I will be playing for the University of Saint Peter’s. Despite being a professional and celebrated player, I believe that there is still a lot to learn. I am interested in understanding beyond the game itself. Registering to study sports at this level is an opening chapter towards improving the conceptual and tactical knowledge that I already have in the discipline.
To succeed in sports as a career, my inspiration comes from Jackie Robinson, the first African American to play Major League Baseball. Having read about her in success stories, I believe that I am destined for the same or even a better path in sports. The challenge that I got from Jackie Robinson continuously pushes me forward. As proof to this, I always wear number 42 when playing; a number that constantly reminds me of the need to keep moving forward.
If the institution grants me the opportunity to play sports, I will devote all my efforts to this chance. I will be more interested in using the knowledge to benefit myself and team members. Also, I will strive to win as many awards as possible. My career, however, does not end at the player level. I intend to become a team manager in the future.

I believe that my studying sports at this level, I will have all the required skills to manage a team effectively. However, I can only achieve all these if I get this chance.
